How much do fast food employee's actually make?
We are constantly going to fast food restaurants to grab a quick meal, but do we ever wonder what the employees at these places actually get paid? In this blog post, I will list a few of the fast food restaurants in Troy, Alabama including information on how much their employees get paid. Stay tuned!
1. McDonald's hourly rate for a crew member or cashier is roughly $9 an hour. But, if you are a shift or swing manager you would be getting $11 an hour! This is not so bad and when I did the research I was actually a bit shocked!
2. A crew member at Taco Bell makes the same as a McDonald's crew member which is $9 an hour. A restaurant manager at Taco Bell would make quite a bit more considering their salary base is over $42,000 a year.
3. At Arby's, a crew member will also make $9 an hour, but a shift manager will only make $10. This is not much of a raise to me!
4. Krystal's may be one of the lowest paying fast food restaurants with average pay ranging from $7-$9 an hour. They are even open 24 hours which really surprises me with such a low paying rate!
5. Zaxby's average cashier or crew member rate is shockingly lower than the first few with being only $8 an hour. I was expecting this to be at least $9-$11 since the food quality is outstanding!
