The $1 value menu

Fast-food chains have a wide range of prices on their menus, but something that always catches our eye as consumers is the value menu. But now that many chains are switching to see how much they can pack in a box for $5, a lot of the $1 menus have been taken away. Below I will share a few fast-food chains that are still offering a $1 menu!

Wendy’s actually invented the $1 menu game. A few items that are on the $1 menu are the Jr. Cheeseburger and the Crispy Chicken Sandwich. These two items are fan favorites, but when the Buffalo Chicken Ranch sandwich hit the $1 menu, people went crazy. This is the classic big-chicken-nugget-on-a-bun construction, but this one’s loaded up with Monterrey Jack and a Buffalo ranch sauce.

Taco Bell has nearly 17 items for under $1 ranging from breakfast tacos, mini quesadillas, and a bean, cheese, and rice burrito. The mini quesadilla is known to be the third-best item on Taco Bell’s whole entire menu. But at the end of the day, the number one fan favorite menu item will always be the original taco.

McDonald’s also offers a wide range of items on their dollar menu (pictured below), just not as many as Taco Bell. The McChicken is a well-known fan favorite. It’s basically a giant, peppery chicken nugget tossed on a burger bun covered in mayo and lettuce. Another great thing about McDonald’s dollar menu is you can get any size soft drink for only a dollar. Yep, that’s right, even a large.

Lastly, Sonic offers twelve items for $1 each. The deals are available all day long and include the Jr. Deluxe Burger, Chicken Strip Sandwich, Jr. Fritos Chili Cheese Wrap and Jr. Breakfast Burrito, as well as four flavors of Jr. Candy Sundaes, Small Tots, Small Fries, Small Famous Slush, Small Soft Drink, Vanilla Cone and a Fresh Banana. A fresh banana? This is very interesting to have fruit on a fast-food menu, but thanks Sonic for trying.
