Cup of Joe on the Go

No matter what time of the day it may be, a cup of joe is always necessary. Whether you are in a hurry and do not have time to make a cup at home, or you just like the taste, fast food coffee is a definite go-to. In this blog post, I will list several fast food restaurants in Troy that have many varieties of coffee worth trying!

1.     Wendy’s coffee… only 99 cents!

Wendy’s has only been serving breakfast options for a little over five years now, so their coffee is fairly new. Wendy’s only offers hot coffee in sizes regular and large. Wendy’s website states, "100% Arabica beans from around the world, medium-roasted to bring out all the best flavors."

2.     McCafé: McDonald's wide range of coffee!

McDonald’s has been selling coffee for over 70 years now, but McCafe was founded in 1993. McDonald’s has a wide range of coffee some include different flavors of cappuccinos, mochas, lattes, Americano, Frappes, and iced coffees. All of these coffees range in price according to what you get and size. My personal favorite is the vanilla iced coffee!

3.     Chick-fil-A coffee at all hours

Chick-fil-A offers three ways you can get your coffee: hot, iced, or frosted. Their coffee prices range from $1.65-$2.79 depending on what way and size you order. Chick-fil-A has always been one of my favorite places to get fast food coffee because of the quality! Pictured below is a large vanilla iced coffee… definitely, one you should try!

4.     Taco Bell- LIVE MAS

Taco Bell offers both hot and iced coffee on their menu. The prices on both coffees are about the same, $1.49. On their website, they claim their premium coffee is “60% Rainforest Alliance Certified.” I have never personally tried Taco Bell’s coffee, but I am excited to see what it is all about!

5.     Burger King??

Unlike many other fast food restaurants, Burger King does not advertise and promote its coffee program. However, they do offer regular coffee, decaf, and iced coffee.

6.     Subway…what

Subway actually has a decent breakfast menu, along with a hot cup of coffee. Subway uses a Keurig machine and pods of Seattle’s Best Coffee to brew each cup individually.

In conclusion, there are many fast food restaurant choices in Troy to get a cup of coffee at! So next time, when you are getting breakfast on the go try out the restaurant’s cup of joe!
