KFC Glow Up- Troy, Alabama Style
The Kentucky Fried Chicken in Troy just got a lot more
tasteful… not only in food quality but also in its visual aspect. The newly
remodeled KFC looks a lot different than the traditional KFC. It features a
roof that resembles a popped bucket of chicken, intended to grab hungry drivers
attention.
KFC started their remodeling process in late 2016 to more
than 50 locations across the United States. Troy’s KFC just got remodeled a few
weeks ago, and is now reopening to consumers!
It took them about two weeks to transform the KFC in Troy
from its old design to its new look. To ease through the remodeling process,
the restaurant tried to keep their drive-thru open. This was a great idea in
order to reduce employee turnover and sales!
The main feature on the inside of the restaurant is the
bucket chandelier (shown on the left). It hangs over a circular table and immediately
grabs your attention when you walk in. The unique part of this feature is its
inspiration from Colonel Sander’s first restaurant, where all customers sat
around one table.
A few other features in the remodeled restaurant include the
numerous photos of Colonel Sanders. These are placed along the back wall and
are meant to make it well known that he is a very special part of the
restaurant. There are also quotes from Sanders placed in various locations. One
quote says, “A Real Meal Is A Meal Made The Hard Way.”
However, the food has stayed the same throughout the whole
remodeling process. A lot of consumers feel as if the food has gotten tastier
since the upgrade, which was a smart goal KFC definitely had in mind when doing
this!
So if you have not stopped by the newly renovated Troy KFC,
I highly recommend you do! Also, do not forget to check out the inside
features! Enjoy your fried chicken!
